When are the recitals?
Recitals are held during the Spring and Winter parts of the year. They are usually held in May and December but may vary on venue availability. You can view details on the Recital Page for the most upcoming recital.
How do the payments work?
This may vary* by school, but at most school locations, parents pay monthly, per child. When signing up, you are only agreeing to month-to-month. The number of sessions left is just an estimated placeholder and gets extended depending on school break schedules.
*The reason we say payments may vary is because some school locations have a different cost and the way they want billing to be handled. Sometimes they prefer 10-week sessions and sometimes they want 6-week sessions. Also, many schools have a different rate because it is their policy to have enrichment classes be a specific rate, some cover the cost, and some collect the parent billing themselves.
Do I get charged for school closure dates?
The answer is yes and no. Let us explain; whenever your school is closed for a quick break, not made from Lovely Leaps (a holiday or random one-week event) the memberships continue as they are fast and not usually planned.
But at Lovely Leaps we try to make every effort to know when multi-week school breaks are coming (Spring Break, Summer Break, Winter Break). When made aware, with enough notice, we put a hold on your account with a start date for when the school will come back.*
*If advanced notice, we will pause all parent accounts if the break is between 3 to 6 weeks. If the break is for longer due to a summer break (2 to 3 months), we will cancel the accounts and the parents need to resign themselves back up when school sessions start again.
Can my child take classes at a Local Studio and what is the cost?
Yes, your child can take classes at a local studio of Lovely Leaps, but this varies between Lovely Leaps managed and non-managed locations.
The cost at Lovely Leaps managed locations would be the studio membership that works for you minus $38 for a bonus discount (school membership required). The discount must be granted and applied by a studio member or you will be subject to regular membership rates.
The cost at Lovely Leaps non-managed locations is not discounted.
How do i cancel my account?
Easy, just send an email to [email protected]. You can also send an email to [email protected] but the first email is recommended.
If you request a cancellation after you membership auto-renews. The cancellation will take effect for the next upcoming renewal period.
Can I watch my child dance?
In order to watch your child dance at a school location, you must ask your school. Lovely Leaps provides dance services at the school locations and have no control over the school policies.
Do you have photos of my child?
Sometimes, photos are taken by our instructors and the school staff. These photos are then submitted back to Lovely Leap. Upon review, many of these photos are posted on social channels and/or used in the marketing material, including the website.
None of these photos are labeled with the names of the kids and many are not used. The best way to see photos of your child is to ask your school to provide them if they have them. You can also follow Lovely Leaps on social and spot one from time to time.
What do I do if the sign up link doesn't work?
Call your local studio location phone number or email [email protected]. Lovely Leaps will get you signed up and into your class. Many times the link isn’t working because the program is full or a simple edit in the system may need to be changed.
What is the age level?
This may vary between each school location. If Lovely Leaps is offering services at your school, then the majority of the time your child is the correct age. This differs for elementary school due. to the large age gap, but if your child is too young and has a hard time keeping up or its too easy, we directly connect with you to let you know if we will be making a younger or older class to accommodate.
How do refunds work?
Refunds will be processed due to accidental system charges. If you requested a cancellation via [email protected] or [email protected] prior to your account’s renewal and you were charged accidentally, we apologize and will submit the refund immediately.
If you never requested cancellation before your renewal, unfortunately, a refund will not be processed, Lovely Leaps will cancel your account if you would like so that you will not be charged again. Also, your child will get to enjoy dance for the duration of your active membership.
